Mathematics Made Easy redefines the role of a textbook in the teaching and learning of primary mathematics. The design and scope of the content have been developed to align with the new Ghanaian Standards Based Curriculum.

They are a series of textbooks that is based on various learning concepts. Students have opportunities to improve on their problem-solving skills and apply Mathematics in real-world contexts.

Mathematics Made Easy is organised and structured in line with widely researched approaches used around the world. These books adopt the integration of the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (C-P-A) approach to facilitate the shift from pictorial to symbolic understanding.

A four-part lesson structure of Think and Talk, Let’s Learn, Activity and Independent Exercise are adopted with careful variations to develop children’s deep interest in mathematics beyond the usual school curriculum.

In addition, concrete aids and manipulatives suitable for teaching and learning Mathematics are merged to facilitate the effectiveness of teaching methods and innovative ideas.
